Our Wider Community
The Sherborne Qatar Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is an integral part of our school community, fostering a strong partnership between parents, teachers, and the school.
Committed to creating a supportive and engaging environment, the PTA plays a vital role in enhancing the educational journey of our pupils. Through various initiatives, events, and fundraisers, the PTA aims to strengthen the sense of belonging and collaboration among all stakeholders. From organizing coffee mornings to community events , the PTA actively contributes to the overall success and well-being of our pupils.
We believe in going the extra mile to enhance our pupils' experience by providing additional equipment and activities beyond what is covered by school fees.
In our small and close-knit community, the PTA serves as a valuable resource for fostering connections, making friends, and creating a sense of belonging for all families. Additionally, the PTA recognizes the importance of supporting parents who are new to Qatar, helping them connect with other parents and facilitating their transition into a new country.
In March 2023, we were thrilled to host the Spring Fair at the Senior School, welcoming over 2,000 people from the Sherborne Qatar community. It was an incredible success and a testament to the strong bond within our school. We are always looking for enthusiastic volunteers to get involved and make a difference in future events.
The PTA is run by a dedicated committee of parents and staff, with sub-committees overseeing our diverse range of activities and events.
If you would like to be part of our vibrant PTA and contribute your time and talents, please email [email protected]. Keep an eye on regular notices sent by the schools for more information on upcoming opportunities.
Our Parent Teacher Association (PTA) organizes regular coffee mornings that serve as a wonderful platform for our parents to come together, connect, and foster a sense of community. These informal gatherings provide a relaxed setting where parents can engage in meaningful conversations, share their experiences, and discuss topics of shared interest.
The coffee mornings not only offer an opportunity to build new friendships but also strengthen existing relationships within our school community. Through these gatherings, parents can exchange valuable insights, seek advice, and offer support to one another, creating a more cohesive and supportive network.
The coffee mornings organized by our PTA play a vital role in nurturing a sense of belonging and enhancing the overall school experience for both parents and their children.
