We are a family of four small and exclusive schools located in Doha which provide a truly outstanding British education to 2000+ pupils from Pre School to Year 13. Our 190+ UK trained teachers educate the children to have high expectations academically, emotionally and socially, striving to develop passionate lifelong learners.
In a progressive, 21st century environment, we encourage student collaboration, discussion and independent learning. The well-being of our pupils is very important to us as participation in sports, arts and music through a competitive House system is also encouraged. We believe in ‘Education for Life’, a holistic approach to learning allowing our pupils to become thinkers, problem solvers, debaters, communicators and entrepreneurs, all in classrooms and dedicated sport facilities where they are encouraged to take chances and are allowed to make mistakes.

Sherborne Qatar offers a top quality British education based on the National Curriculum of England, delivered by UK trained teachers, and attracts pupils from both the Qatari and expatriate communities. The language of instruction is English for all subjects except Arabic, Islamic Studies and Modern Foreign Languages.
We want our pupils to become positive role models, to take on positions of responsibility and to develop a range of interests. To this end, we encourage pupils to explore their interests and embrace the extracurricular activities on offer. All pupils have the desire to achieve if encouraged to do so and given the opportunities to do so.

PREPARATORY
Everything we do at Sherborne Qatar Prep is centred on each child’s development; whether it be in the classroom, on the stage, on the playing fields and beyond. Our role is to help each of our children find their brilliance. At the Prep School we firmly believe it’s about testing limits, not taking tests. We foster learning that develops our children’s mind and the body, their hearts and their souls.

The newest school in our family of schools is the Junior School for children aged 4-11. It is a coeducational, small, caring school where children are taught the Sherborne WAY. Our new Sherborne WAY, is our unique curriculum that is based on the National Curriculum of England, but further enhanced by our wonderful, caring team of staff, who prepare the children for a lifetime of learning, helping each of them find their brilliance.

SENIOR
At Sherborne Senior School we believe academic success, and first-class pastoral care, cannot be achieved in large impersonal institutions. We have recently moved to a new state-of-the-art building with world-class facilities and continue to offer a nurturing and supportive environment, small class sizes and highly-qualified subject specialists. With a rapidly expanding range of options, we provide I/GCSE, AS and A Level and BTEC qualifications.

GIRLS
Currently open from Pre School to Year 10, Sherborne Qatar School for Girls aims to be a truly outstanding school, embedding an ethos of STEM learning into everything we do. We believe that STEM education is far more than just offering more Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths as standalone subjects.
Our school is kept purposefully small, with a maximum of 72 girls per year group, as we want to know our pupils and to be able to personally focus on their educational needs and individual development.
