The Department for Education has put in place a voluntary scheme for the inspection of British schools overseas, whereby schools are inspected against a common set of standards that British schools overseas can choose to adopt. The purpose of the inspection is to provide information to parents, teachers, senior managers and the school’s management on the overall effectiveness of the school, the standard of education it provides and its compatibility with independent schools in the United Kingdom. The Senior and Preparatory schools were inspected in April 2022.
The inspectors’ overall judgement is that the Prep School is an Outstanding school and that the Senior School is a good school with significant outstanding features. Both schools have many strengths, including the excellent British curriculum which supports all pupils, the outstanding pastoral care offered to all pupils and the high level of respect between pupils and teachers and between teachers and pupils.  Both schools fully meet all the accreditation standards for British Schools Overseas (BSO).
